Lighting of christmas in Malaga

Over the past few years, the spectacle of lights and christmas music of Malaga has gone over to become the most visited attraction of the city during the holiday season.

Christmas 2024 has already come to Malaga. The tower mocha Malaga Cathedral, visible from the calle Molina Lario, will be the scene of a videomapping entitled ‘cavalcade of stars’. The pass will be at 19h, at 20.30 h and at 22 hours, every day from December 1 until January 4, except on 24 and 31 December. The approximate duration of the show is 8 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased on the website lucesdelaconcepcion.es and cost €15.50 for adults and €11.50 for children. There will be several shows every 30 minutes each day from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a maximum capacity of 400 people.

And the other scenario highlight of this Christmas in Malaga will be the Park of the West, who will host for the first time the celebration of a festival of lanterns. Although it is not an event itself christmas (is inspired by the chinese New Year) will also start at almost the same date as the other two, but it will last longer, can be enjoyed from the 30th November until the 15th of February.

This festival is held in the central part of the park to the West, in the area of the pond, on an area of three hectares.
